Selection Process

Job Profile & Responsibility

As a Member of the NCLAT, the primary responsibility is to act as an Appellate Authority. Members hear appeals against decisions made by the NCLT, CCI, IBBI, and NFRA, ensuring justice in corporate and financial disputes.

  • Adjudication: Hearing complex legal cases related to Insolvency and Bankruptcy.
  • Appellate Jurisdiction: Reviewing orders of the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
  • Judicial Review: Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2013.
  • Bench Management: Presiding over proceedings in New Delhi or Chennai.
