Qualification

  • B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Math/Biology/Agriculture OR Agriculture Group (Science & Math for Agriculture, Crop Production, Animal Husbandry).
  • B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering): Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English subjects.
  • Appearing Candidates: Students appearing in the qualifying 12th exam in 2026 are also eligible to apply.

Full Eligibility & Reservation Criteria

Candidates must be Citizens of India. For most seats, being a Resident of Madhya Pradesh is mandatory. However, Payment Seats under the Unreserved category are open to candidates from other states. There is a special 5% Horizontal Reservation for children of farmers whose livelihood is entirely dependent on agriculture. Additionally, 3% seats are reserved for children of Freedom Fighters and Defense Personnel. For B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, candidates must meet specific Physical Standards like a minimum height of 163 cm for males and 150 cm for females.

  • Normalization of Scores: Since the exam is held in multiple shifts, the Normalization Method is applied to calculate final scores.
  • Merit List: Preparation of category-wise Provisional Merit Lists based on normalized scores.
  • Counseling: Centralized online counseling conducted by the respective universities (JNKVV/RVSKVV/MGCGV) where document verification occurs.
  • Final Admission: Submission of original documents and Medical Fitness Certificate at the allotted college.
