Salary
The selected candidates for the post of Staff Nurse will be appointed on a contract basis. The remuneration will be as per the existing Government of Andhra Pradesh rules for contractual medical staff. The initial tenure is one year, which may be extended based on performance and departmental requirements.
Selection Process
The selection is purely based on merit. No written exam or interview will be conducted. Marks are calculated based on academic performance (75%), seniority/waiting period (up to 10 marks), and service weightage (up to 15 marks) for those who worked in government facilities previously.
- Academic Merit: 75% marks of the aggregate in qualifying exams (GNM/B.Sc Nursing).
- Waiting Period Weightage: 1.0 mark per completed year after passing the exam (Max 10 marks).
- Service Weightage: Up to 15% marks for Contract/Outsourcing service in Govt institutions.
- COVID-19 Service: Special weightage for candidates who served during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Final Merit List: Based on the total score out of 100.
