Selection Process

• Phase 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
• Phase 2: Main Examination (Descriptive Type)
• Phase 3: Viva-Voce / Personality Test

• The Preliminary Examination is an OMR-based objective-type test.
• There is negative marking in the Preliminary Exam for incorrect answers.
• The Main Examination consists of four descriptive papers, each carrying 100 marks.
• There is no negative marking in the Main Examination.
• The Viva-Voce / Personality Test carries 50 marks, assessing overall personality and suitability.
• The final merit list is based on the combined scores of the Main Examination and Viva-Voce.

• Master Basics: For Arithmetic and Reasoning, ensure a strong grasp of fundamental concepts and practice a variety of problems regularly.
• Current Affairs: Stay updated with national and international current events, especially those related to government schemes, social welfare, and women/child development. Read newspapers and monthly magazines.
• Descriptive Writing Practice: For Mains, regularly practice essay writing, précis writing, and translation. Focus on clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy.
