Unit I: Number Systems

• Real Numbers: Euclid’s Division Lemma, Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic, Proofs of Irrationality for √2, √3, and √5, Decimal Expansions of Rational Numbers.

Unit II: Algebra

• Polynomials: Zeros of a Polynomial, Relationship between Zeros and Coefficients of Quadratic Polynomials, Division Algorithm for Polynomials with Real Coefficients.
• Pair of Linear Equations in Two Variables: Geometric Representation of Solutions, Algebraic Conditions for Number of Solutions, Solving by Substitution Method, Solving by Elimination Method, Solving by Cross Multiplication Method, Situational Problems, Equations Reducible to Linear Forms.
• Quadratic Equations: Standard Form of Quadratic Equations, Finding Real Roots by Factorization, Finding Real Roots using Quadratic Formula, Relationship between Discriminant and Nature of Roots.
• Arithmetic Progressions (AP): Finding the nth Term, Sum of First n Terms.

Unit III: Trigonometry

• Introduction to Trigonometry: Trigonometric Ratios of Acute Angles, Values of Trigonometric Ratios for 30°, 45°, and 60°, Relationships between Trigonometric Ratios, Trigonometric Ratios of Complementary Angles, Basic Trigonometric Identities.

Unit IV: Coordinate Geometry

• Lines in Two Dimensions: Distance Formula, Section Formula, Area of a Triangle.

Unit V: Geometry

• Triangles: Similar Triangles, Basic Proportionality Theorems, Similarity Criteria (AAA, SSS, SAS), Pythagoras Theorem and Converse.
• Circle: Tangents to a Circle, Tangent Perpendicular to Radius, Equal Lengths of Tangents from an External Point.
• Constructions: Division of a Line Segment Internally in a Given Ratio, Construction of Tangent to a Circle from an External Point.

Unit VI: Mensuration

• Areas Related to Circles: Area of Sectors and Segments, Perimeter and Circumference Calculations.
• Surface Areas and Volumes: Surface Areas and Volumes of Combined Solids, Conversion of One Metallic Solid into Another.

Unit VII: Statistics and Probability

• Statistics: Mean of Grouped Data, Median of Grouped Data, Mode of Grouped Data.
• Probability: Classical Definition of Probability, Simple Problems on Single Events.
